  3. Please make a copy of your orignal disk before doing anything else.

  5. This disk contains the following directories / files:

  8.    1. c (dir)
  9.    2. l (dir)
  10.    3. devs (dir)
  11.    4. s (dir)
  12.    5. examples (dir)
  13.    6. .info
  14.    7. preferences
  15.    8. preferences.info
  16.  
  17. A minimum Workbench is supplied with this disk so that single drive machines
  18. and basic systems functions can be used without difficulty.
  19.  
  20. The start-up sequence located in s (dir) initially boots you to
  21. learn (dir). This prevents data from accidentally being written to
  22. the c (dir) where the DATAMAT program resides.
  23.  
  24. Should you wish to change the start-up sequence at any time, type the
  25. following:
  26.  
  27.    CD DF0:
  28.    CD S
  29.    ED startup-sequence
  30.  
  31. At this point the startup-sequence text will appear on the screen. If for
  32. example you would like to boot directly to CLI, delete the following lines:
  33.  
  34.    draw :c/falls
  35.    Datamat
  36.  
  37.  
  38. You will now boot to the CLI. Changes for booting to user created
  39. directories etc., can be made in like fashion.
  40.  
  41. There is a sample application that resides in the "examples" directory.

  43. To run the application type the following commands.

  45. 1> cd :examples
  46. 1> Datamat e-z
